Located in the Hamptons on Long Island, NY, the Fairfield Pond mansion has a history steeped in controversy. Claims have been made that the owner of Fairfield Pond, Ira Rennert, raided the funds of his now defunct mining company to pay for the sprawling mansion. This gorgeous mansion is located in Highgate in Northwest London, and is maintained by Historic England. Witanhurst has evolved through many rejected and altered renovation plans, and is currently undergoing a subterranean expansion that will make room for plenty of lavish accommodations. Buckingham Palace in London, England

It’s believed that the home reaches approximately five stories high, and contains 13 bedrooms, 14 baths, and 12-inch thick exterior walls. He paid $40 million in an all-cash deal for a 6,000-square-foot beachfront home in an exclusive Malibu area known as "Billionaire's Beach," The Real Deal reported in January 2023. With its 26-foot-high ceilings, the home’s main entrance leads to an array of gathering areas with panoramic 360-degree views of the Pacific Ocean, downtown Los Angeles, and the San Gabriel Mountains. The entry area is filled with water, along with a sculpture and bridge. “Water is something we often use in our design process because it allows for a sensory change that helps you adjust to your surroundings,” says McClean. Biltmore is open all year, with every season offering something different.

Fair Field, Sagaponack – 110,000 Square Feet

Huge garden areas surround the Palace where the King often holds parties and official ceremonies. The 500 feet tall building was constructed by two different design companies and is earthquake-proof. The other floors contain a pool, spa, gym, a 50-seat theater, health center, temple, and even a snow room that produces real snow. Six of the floors are taken up by garages that can hold 168 cars while there are three helipads on the roof.

The prospective owner will be able to boast about being neighbors with Jennifer Aniston — for $500,000,000. They can also roam around the house’s 20 bedrooms and 30 bathrooms, go bowling, or feed the jellyfish that live in the ceiling. Despite several appeals, the city denied letting Niami add a third kitchen he hoped to have for catered events. It seems the neighbors aren’t keen on having a “party house” in the area. The new owner will just have to limit the guest list when inviting people to sample the wine room or chill in the night club. This residential palace is a gorgeous example of Indo-Saracenic architecture, which incorporates Mughal and Hindu motifs.

It is located in Brunei and serves as the residence of the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah. Lakshmi Vilas Palace is known for its opulent architecture, expansive grounds, and overall grandeur. In the Romance languages French, Spanish, Italian, Romanian and Portuguese, ⟨c⟩ generally has a "hard" value of /k/ and a "soft" value whose pronunciation varies by language. In French, Portuguese, Catalan and Spanish from Latin America and some places in Spain, the soft ⟨c⟩ value is /s/ as it is in English. In the Spanish spoken in most of Spain, the soft ⟨c⟩ is a voiceless dental fricative /θ/.

Whether such a type cast makes sense or not is of course a different story, and depends on the context, but pointers give us the freedom to cast as we please. Another way to use this freedom is assembling sequential data to one common buffer. On a system with a memory management unit, such as your average desktop computer, you will most certainly end up with a segmentation fault in the last line.

According to Stroustrup, "the name signifies the evolutionary nature of the changes from C."[32] This name is credited to Rick Mascitti (mid-1983)[23] and was first used in December 1983. When Mascitti was questioned informally in 1992 about the naming, he indicated that it was given in a tongue-in-cheek spirit. The name comes from C's ++ operator (which increments the value of a variable) and a common naming convention of using "+" to indicate an enhanced computer program. There are several common digraphs with ⟨c⟩, the most common being ⟨ch⟩, which in some languages (such as German) is far more common than ⟨c⟩ alone. Among non-European languages that have adopted the Latin alphabet, ⟨c⟩ represents a variety of sounds.

Operators in C and C++

Some linkers may map external identifiers to a single case, although this is uncommon in most modern linkers. The main function will usually call other functions to help it perform its job. In the while and do statements, the sub-statement is executed repeatedly so long as the value of the expression remains non-zero (equivalent to true). With while, the test, including all side effects from , occurs before each iteration (execution of ); with do, the test occurs after each iteration.

Therefore, this approach is less useful for local pointers and it is more often used with pointers stored in long-living structs. In general though, setting pointers to NULL is good practice [according to whom? ] as it allows a programmer to NULL-check pointers prior to dereferencing, thus helping prevent crashes. An incomplete type is a structure or union type whose members have not yet been specified, an array type whose dimension has not yet been specified, or the void type (the void type cannot be completed). Such a type may not be instantiated (its size is not known), nor may its members be accessed (they, too, are unknown); however, the derived pointer type may be used (but not dereferenced). Note that storage specifiers apply only to functions and objects; other things such as type and enum declarations are private to the compilation unit in which they appear.

Newline indicates the end of a text line; it need not correspond to an actual single character, although for convenience C treats it as one. The similarly shaped letter the (Ҫ ҫ) is used in the Cyrillic alphabets of Bashkir and Chuvash to represent /θ/ and /ɕ/, respectively. It previously represented a voiceless palatal click /ǂ/ in Juǀʼhoansi and Naro, though the former has replaced it with ⟨ǂ⟩ and the latter with ⟨tc⟩.

Distinguishing features

c&f design

Both Unix and C were created at AT&T's Bell Laboratories in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Many universities and organizations began creating their own variants of the language for their own projects. By the beginning of the 1980s compatibility problems between the various C implementations became apparent. In 1983 the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) formed a committee to establish a standard specification of C known as "ANSI C".

When a function is called with fewer arguments than there are declared parameters, explicit arguments are matched to parameters in left-to-right order, with any unmatched parameters at the end of the parameter list being assigned their default arguments. In many cases, specifying default arguments in a single function declaration is preferable to providing overloaded function definitions with different numbers of parameters. Local variables are created as the point of execution passes the declaration point.

These three approaches are appropriate in different situations and have various trade-offs. For example, static memory allocation has little allocation overhead, automatic allocation may involve slightly more overhead, and dynamic memory allocation can potentially have a great deal of overhead for both allocation and deallocation. C is often used in low-level systems programming where escapes from the type system may be necessary. Thompson wanted a programming language for developing utilities for the new platform. At first, he tried to write a Fortran compiler, but soon gave up the idea. Instead, he created a cut-down version of the recently developed systems programming language called BCPL.

This approach may be used for portability or convenience; by using C as an intermediate language, additional machine-specific code generators are not necessary. C has some features, such as line-number preprocessor directives and optional superfluous commas at the end of initializer lists, that support compilation of generated code. However, some of C's shortcomings have prompted the development of other C-based languages specifically designed for use as intermediate languages, such as C--. Also, contemporary major compilers GCC and LLVM both feature an intermediate representation that is not C, and those compilers support front ends for many languages including C. Unless otherwise specified, static objects contain zero or null pointer values upon program startup.

In 1989, C++ 2.0 was released, followed by the updated second edition of The C++ Programming Language in 1991.[25] New features in 2.0 included multiple inheritance, abstract classes, static member functions, const member functions, and protected members. Later feature additions included templates, exceptions, namespaces, new casts, and a Boolean type. For the purposes of these tables, a, b, and c represent valid values (literals, values from variables, or return value), object names, or lvalues, as appropriate. R, S and T stand for any type(s), and K for a class type or enumerated type.

As the type of an object at its creation is known at compile time, constructors, and by extension copy constructors, cannot be virtual. Nonetheless, a situation may arise where a copy of an object needs to be created when a pointer to a derived object is passed as a pointer to a base object. In such a case, a common solution is to create a clone() (or similar) virtual function that creates and returns a copy of the derived class when called. Structures aggregate the storage of multiple data items, of potentially differing data types, into one memory block referenced by a single variable. The following example declares the data type struct birthday which contains the name and birthday of a person. The structure definition is followed by a declaration of the variable John that allocates the needed storage.

The now generally recommended method[note 3] of supporting international characters is through UTF-8, which is stored in char arrays, and can be written directly in the source code if using a UTF-8 editor, because UTF-8 is a direct ASCII extension. A multidimensional array should not be confused with an array of pointers to arrays (also known as an Iliffe vector or sometimes an array of arrays). The former is always rectangular (all subarrays must be the same size), and occupies a contiguous region of memory. The latter is a one-dimensional array of pointers, each of which may point to the first element of a subarray in a different place in memory, and the sub-arrays do not have to be the same size. Some compilers warn if an object with enumerated type is assigned a value that is not one of its constants.

The compiler complained because we wrote an integer into a variable that should be a pointer to an integer, and we should have listened. While individual strings are arrays of contiguous characters, there is no guarantee that the strings are stored as a contiguous group. A function may return a value to caller (usually another C function, or the hosting environment for the function main). The printf function mentioned above returns how many characters were printed, but this value is often ignored.

The Latin letters ⟨C⟩ and ⟨c⟩ have Unicode encodings U+0043 C LATIN CAPITAL LETTER C and U+0063 c LATIN SMALL LETTER C. These are the same code points as were used in ASCII and ISO 8859. There are also precomposed character encodings for ⟨C⟩ and ⟨c⟩ with diacritics, for most of those listed above; the remainder are produced using combining diacritics. C-family languages span multiple programming paradigms, conceptual models, and run-time environments. The C99 standard includes new real floating-point types float_t and double_t, defined in . They correspond to the types used for the intermediate results of floating-point expressions when FLT_EVAL_METHOD is 0, 1, or 2. The actual size and behavior of floating-point types also vary by implementation.

He was deployed during the time of filming, but we’ve seen him on Facetime a few times. One of the Cooper’s biggest storylines last year involved their life as newlyweds and hopeful parents. She's looking forward to spending the summer with her friends, but things become heated in the house after an argument gets out of hand. While trying to understand his black history and connect with his roots, he falls hard for a housemate. In the eight episodes of the series, viewers got to know a bit about each of the cast members, as tensions and potential romances flared within the house. Because Bria is the group’s ghost producer, she asked Summer and Noelle how they were doing during a girls’ moment in the backyard pool.

Like many of her fellow castmates, Noelle is "single and ready to mingle," and, like Summer, she's also caught the eye of Alex.

However, he said his apology was genuine, and going to therapy has helped him reflect on his former self. They ended the call on a good note, and hopefully, that’s the last of Phil on SHMV. This is the second spinoff from Summer House, which itself started from a crossover of Vanderpump Rules.

Amir is excited for his new love, Natalie, to spend time with the group despite their reservations about her. When they blame Natalie for starting drama in the house, however, he’s conflicted over whether he should believe his bros or his girl. Viewers will also watch the cast live in the Vineyard’s beautiful gingerbread cottages. All these features make Martha’s Vineyard the perfect destination for the rich and famous elites of the world.

Her friend Noelle is coming along, and she’s looking forward to introducing her to everyone. Summer is single and open to meeting someone new, but her flirtation with Alex has become somewhat murky. Jasmine arrives on the vineyard with a big secret and without Silas, as he is serving overseas in the U.S. military. She wants this Vineyard vacation to be her “hot girl summer,” but the growing distance between her and the group, especially her sister-cousin Jordan, puts a damper on her plans. Keep scrolling to find out more about the cast, including new and returning friends, as well as more details about the new season!

In addition to being an attorney, Preston is also an activist, adjunct professor and from time to time a cable news contributor. Although dedicated to his career, he still makes time to be a bit of a social butterfly. He heads to Martha's Vineyard without his partner Donald to hang with his friend Jasmine and fraternity brother Silas. Want to know more about the reality stars flocking to the Cape Cod region of the US? Her friend, Noelle, is coming along, and she's looking forward to introducing her to everyone. Between her busy DJ career and a stressful health battle with alopecia, Jordan is looking forward to letting loose and having fun this summer, especially with Preston, Summer and Shanice.

We quickly learn in the trailer that "if you don't know, Black excellence is Martha's Vineyard and Martha's Vineyard is Black excellence." Entrepreneur Bria loves nothing more than the finer things in life and her dog, Milo. She’s now in a long-distance relationship with German boyfriend Simon and has resolved to focus on herself and stay out of the mess this summer. However, when things flair up with the housemates’ significant others, all bets are off. Hardworking realtor Amir returns for his second Martha’s Vineyard getaway, but this time he’s off the market.

In case you need a reminder, Noelle felt some type of way about wanting to pursue Alex since he and Summer had sexual relationships in the past. For Noelle and some of the others in the house, it seemed weird that Summer would encourage Noelle to go after Alex but omit the fact that they had sex. But she was sure willing to blurt it out during the first group dinner of the season. His 30 seconds of screen time this week were spent on Facetime with Preston. The latter shared his feelings with the house in previous episodes about how Phil’s comments, like “soft” and “sus,” made him feel like a gay man. During Preston’s call with him, Phil took some ownership of his behavior (even though he had trashed their feelings days before).

But their long history together only makes the laughs, hookups and drama between them that much richer. Cohen’s confirmation of a reunion comes as both fans and cast members have been petitioning the network for the series, which has become a cult favorite for Bravo watchers and new fans alike, to get a reunion after Season 1 did not have one. She's pursuing dreams as a screenwriter and is currently a production coordinator for a boutique production company in LA. She's connected to the group once again, via a friendship with Jasmine, who she met at Sundance in 2019. Jason enjoys spending time in the sky with celebrity clients as a senior flight attendant for a top airline. Outside of the aircraft, he enjoys dancing and socializing when he's not working on his skin care and beard oil business ventures.

According to reports, this historical location is recognized as one of the top-ranking beach destinations many African Americans visit to enjoy vacationing and buying properties. Martha’s Vineyard also features beautiful and serene beaches, icing, and romantic sailboats, adding to its enticing and rich natural beauty. Now "a favorite escape for the rich, famous and politically connected," the summertime sanctuary draws a crowd for its "natural beauty with pristine beaches, romantic sailboats, colorful gingerbread cottages and cultural identity."

With beach parties, decadent dinners, and summer hookups, both fun and drama are in store for these young Black professionals and entrepreneurs. Ten young Black professionals and entrepreneurs head to Martha’s Vineyard, an island south of Cape Cod that was one of the first beach destinations where African-Americans could vacation and purchase property. As they band together to escape their worries, discover the beauty of this exclusive enclave and have an epic summer, it becomes clear that some of their friendships are fractured while others are in full bloom.

While Milo’s attendance certainly caused some major tension for her within the group, specifically from the trip’s hosts Jasmine and Silas, Milo was ultimately embraced by the house and fans alike. Jacquez began writing about pop culture and reality television during his time as a student at Ohio University. Since graduating, Jacquez has continued writing about celebs and all things entertainment. Phil told Preston that when he met them the first time, he was extremely drunk.

The challenge is that she hasn't spoken to her former bestie, Jasmine, in months, and it’s making things awkward in the group. Read on for Bravo's roomie-by-roomie breakdown of what to expect from each vacationer this season. "I've grown a lot, and also just communicating better. Obviously, [Jasmine and I] made amends in our friendship and it's just getting down to the communication." As for Bria, she was hyper-aware of how she handles conflict going into filming season 2. "Our marriage is actually formed, let's just start there," she explained, noting that what season 1 captured was really a "growing pains" era for them as newlyweds. New episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock, BravoTV.com, and in the Bravo app.

Giant Shelves Made From 2x4s and Plywood : 7 Steps with Pictures

2x4 design

For practical purposes, I decided to make the first two units the same, round width, then build custom-size shelf supports for the remaining space. About a year ago, I custom built a set of giant shelves out of 2x4s, plywood and heavy-duty pocket-hole screws for half of that space. But I hadn’t found time to build another set of shelves for the other half of the space — until recently. Abby and I had some vacation time to burn, so we teamed up and tackled the rest of the project. New York-based design firm 2×4 is credited with helping to redefine graphic design as one of the most inclusive and visible design categories.

Fill the holes with wood putty and then let it dry out for a few hours. Apply a few coats of paint over the exterior of the planter to protect them from the weather elements (in case you don’t you cedar or redwood). Read the labels with attention and choose a product that is food safe. Finally, we dropped the plywood pieces in place and screwed them down with 1” drywall screws. There are tons of boards to cut here, so a length stop is invaluable.

SIMPLE DIY SOLUTIONS

The action you just performed triggered the security solution. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data. Drill pilot holes and install as shown in illustration above using 2 3/4″ deck screws. 2×4/design series 3 is organized by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Each shelving section gets its own rectangular shelf surface with notches in the corners for the 2x4 columns. On any given project, interns will work with a design director and project team to conceive, create and present ideas. Clients range from fashion brands to museums and cultural institutions. At 2x4, internships prioritize learning and the acquisition of real-world experience. Generally, interns have completed undergraduate study in graphic design or are working on their MFA or MArch. Relevant experience in the discipline is preferred but not required. All these challenge projects are at least 85% structural lumber, and my oh my, I’m so impressed at the creativity!

4 Bench Plans – Material List

Use a circular saw to make parallel cuts and then remove the excess with a chisel. First, we used a circular saw, straight-edge jig and plywood scrap cutting pads to cut the rectangles. The inside faces use half chunks because the adjacent pieces each share 2x4 columns. I cut those notches with the circular saw for speed, though a jigsaw would be more precise. I started by clearing off a space on my large, flat workbench. A floor works just as well if that’s all that’s available.

Place a 7/16″ piece between the slats and align them at both ends. Drill pilot holes and insert 1 5/8″ screws to lock them into place tightly. Some big, steel, industrial shelving units can found for cheaper than what we spent here.

I just clamped a piece of scrap metal to my workbench and referenced the end of every board against it for a particular length while cutting with my miter saw. We started by measuring the height, width and depth of the space. We left about an inch of wiggle room at the top and at one side to make it easier to pull the shelves out in one giant piece. My wife, Abby, and I decided one way to fix this would be to build some custom shelves in the back of the main area. The ceiling there drops down a level underneath a sunken living room and some vents.

Then it was a matter of screwing the crosspieces to the vertical posts. We found it easiest to focus on one side of the frame at a time. Prices and availability of products and services are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected where discovered, and Lowe's reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted. For example, suppose a botanist wants to understand the effects of sunlight (none vs. low vs. medium vs. high) and watering frequency (daily vs. weekly) on the growth of a certain species of plant. Please note that artwork locations are subject to change, and not all works are on view at all times.

Using pocket hole screws makes this shelf build pretty easy. These fasteners are easy to use and help automatically keep everything square, which can be a challenge for new DIYers. Next, I had to figure out the width of each shelf unit. I divided the width of the entire space by three shelving units. This gave me a number that felt right for balancing open space against structural integrity, but I could have added or subtracted here if the width was too wide or too thin.

In these instances, we do not publish the Zestimate until more data can be obtained. Real estate professionals can also help their clients claim their home on Zillow, update the home facts and account for any work they have done on the property. A home’s Zillow listing is often the first impression for prospective buyers, and accurate information helps attract interest.

As a real estate brokerage, Redfin has complete access to Multiple Listing Services (MLSs), the databases that real estate agents use to list properties. To calculate the Redfin Estimate the algorithm considers hundreds of data points about the market, the neighborhood, and the home itself, like whether it has a water view or is located on a busy street. When all of this data meets the massive computing power of our proprietary machine-learning software and today’s best cloud technology, you get the Redfin Estimate.

An appraiser will evaluate your property, inside and out, compare it to nearby homes and their recent sales prices, and give you an official written valuation. Using a home’s value estimator can be tricky because these sites don’t include renovations you may have recently made to your home. To get an accurate estimate of your home value after renovation, you should consider using an ARV (after repair value) tool. Such a tool helps determine how much ROI (return on investment) your home improvement projects will yield.

What kind of information does Bankrate use to calculate my home's value?

Note that there are many factors that may have an effect on home value. While tools like this can account for neighborhood comps, trends in real estate markets, and other factors, there is some information that no estimation tool can always account for. For the most accurate estimate, contact us to request a Comparable Market Analysis (CMA). This report is personally prepared to give you a clear understanding of competing properties, market trends, and recent sales in your area.

This analysis is based on other properties recently sold in the area. Still another way to determine home value is by soliciting the help of a certified appraiser. Because home value estimator sites are free, they can be a beneficial first step before paying for an appraiser’s services. Evaluating the worth of your home can involve a multitude of factors that contribute to its overall value. These are recent transactions of houses in your neighborhood and local market that closely resemble your house in terms of size, age, condition and other crucial characteristics. An appraiser would evaluate these properties and compare your home to determine a probable selling price, which you can also do yourself.

Want to refinance?

Our report includes overall value, estimated price per square foot, property details, sales history of nearby homes and value history. Your home is a huge part of your portfolio and knowing how much it’s worth is just good operating procedure. You can do this via a realtor, tax assessor or appraiser, and whom you ask will depend on your purpose for asking. But your home’s value can—and probably will—change over time, so this is a number you should check regularly, especially given the uncertainty of 2023’s housing market.

Sales History & Deeds

For most major markets, the Zestimate for on-market homes is within 10% of the final sale price more than 95% of the time. This is because these sites each use various methods to compile their values. But just because they aren’t 100 percent accurate doesn’t mean that they aren’t helpful. For instance, a user may want to know the value of their home before attempting to refinance or sell it without having an appraiser assess it.

We can only calculate Zestimates for homes and regions where we have certain data, including historical transactions. This column indicates the number of homes in an area that have Zestimates. We offer the Redfin Estimate where we have enough local and home-specific data to maintain our accuracy levels. While we can’t give any specific information on expansion, we hope to provide the Redfin Estimate for as many homes as possible over time. The assessed value is an annual estimation of your home’s worth, typically determined by a local municipal property assessor.

AVMs don’t always consider a property’s unique features and recent renovations that can significantly enhance its worth. You can use an AVM as a starting point while searching for a suitable market price. Next, you can get a physical appraisal following an AVM estimate to dig into your property’s true value. The Zestimate was created to give consumers more information about homes and the housing market. It is intended to provide user-friendly data to promote transparent real estate markets and allow people to make more informed decisions — it should not be used to drive up the price of a home.

Your search results could include up to 30 years of sale and mortgage data for some addresses. To get a federally guaranteed loan, a law called FIRREA (the Federal Institutions Reform, Recovery and Enforcement Act) requires you to get an appraisal from a professional appraiser. Lending professionals and institutions are prohibited from using other services when making any loan-related decisions. The amount of data we have for your home and homes in your area directly affects the Zestimate’s accuracy. If the data is incorrect or incomplete, update your home facts — this may affect your Zestimate.

To calculate a Zestimate, Zillow uses a sophisticated and proprietary algorithm that incorporates data from county and tax assessor records and direct feeds from hundreds of multiple listing services and brokerages. The Zestimate also incorporates a home’s facts and features, which homeowners have the ability to update. Another way to determine a home’s value is by seeking the assistance of a real estate agent who will prepare a comparative market analysis.

The Zestimate is intended to provide an estimate of the price that a home would fetch if sold for its full value, where the sale isn’t for partial ownership of the property or between family members. Our extensive analysis of foreclosure resale transactions supports the conclusion that these sales are generally made at substantial discounts compared to non-foreclosure sales. For this reason, the Zestimate does not incorporate data about these sales. When major improvements to the algorithm are made, we may recalculate historical Zestimates for affected homes. This provides you with the best estimate of historical property valuations. The Zestimate is based on a complex and proprietary algorithm that incorporates millions of data points.

To ensure the most accurate Zestimate, report all home updates to your local tax assessor. Unreported additions, updates and remodels aren’t reflected in the Zestimate. We recommend that real estate agents and other professionals gain a basic understanding of how the Zestimate is calculated and how to read the Zestimate data accuracy table. This will help them explain to their clients why the Zestimate is a good starting point and historical reference, but should not be used for the final pricing of a home. Many factors can affect your home's value, including buyer demand and prices of neighboring homes.

And Did We Mention Our Agents?

Despite this fact, our Home Value Estimator is not a substitute for an appraisal. While most lenders do not accept AVM estimates as a replacement for a full appraisal in the loan process, there are some loan products for which lenders may use an AVM as part of the appraisal process. What these tools can provide is a ballpark estimate when you’re considering selling your home, buying a new one, or taking out a mortgage for a home purchase or refinance. Depending on whether the property is on or off the market, some sites may be off by as much as 1 to 10 percent.

Mortgage Rates & Loans

Search for data on homeowners to see available contact information, assets, and more. Search current and historical records from millions of properties in the United States. An appraisal should happen much later in the process, and the buyer typically requests and pays for it as part of the loan process. For questions or concerns, please contact Chase customer service or let us know at Chase complaints and feedback. Stay up to date on market changes and find out how much homes like yours have sold in the past year. Calculator how much you can tap into your home equity with a reverse mortgage.

Please review its terms, privacy and security policies to see how they apply to you. Chase isn’t responsible for (and doesn't provide) any products, services or content at this third-party site or app, except for products and services that explicitly carry the Chase name. Using an updated version will help protect your accounts and provide a better experience. Calculate the amount of tax you can save as a homeowner using your mortgage interest.

This is the percentage of transactions for which the Zestimate was within 5% of the transaction price. Those wanting a sneak peek into how much their home is worth will find some of the most accurate results with the following sites. By receiving both estimates, you’ll have the benefit of a reliable estimated range you can expect your home value to fall within.

The Zestimate® home valuation model is Zillow’s estimate of a home’s market value. The Zestimate incorporates public and user-submitted data, taking into account home facts, location and market conditions. For homes that are for sale, the agent listing the property can remove the Redfin Estimate at any time by deselecting the "Allow Automated Valuations" option within the Multiple Listing Service in which the home appears. This will prevent automated valuations from showing on all third-party real estate sites. However, you will need an accurate appraisal from a certified appraiser when refinancing your home.

Our Learning Center provides easy-to-use mortgage calculators, educational articles and more. Our ultimate guide for first-time homebuyers gives an overview of the process from start to finish. And from applying for a loan to managing your mortgage, Chase MyHome has everything you need. Use Redfin's home value estimator to get a free, instant home-value estimate, see nearby sales and market trends, and update your home facts and photos. Search records and you could learn more about the homeowners, homes, and neighborhoods nearby.

You can start by entering your address into Pennymac’s Home Value Estimator tool. If you need help finding a top local real estate agent, you can get help from Pennymac Home Connect and possibly earn a reward when you buy or sell with that agent. Keep in mind that these home value estimator sites aren’t 100 percent accurate—they merely serve as a jumping-off point before taking a home to market or considering a loan. Many variables go into estimating a home’s value, and ultimately, real estate values can shift daily. With that being said, a user may want to get estimates from several of the top sites. If a homeowner has recently renovated or remodeled their home, the estimate may not reflect these updates.

For home sellers, use our home value estimation models to help determine what your home could sell for. In an official sense, a home appraisal can help you petition your bank to get private mortgage insurance removed from your mortgage payment if you feel your equity now exceeds 20% of the home’s value. It can also give you something to work with if you’re fighting your city’s tax evaluation of your home. The physical condition of your home is important, as is the size and number of bedrooms and bathrooms. Various parts of your home—the roof, the carpets and the appliances—depreciate the older they are, so to maintain value in your home, it’s important to continue to make updates and improvements. However, for some homes we may not have enough data to provide a home valuation that meets our standards for accuracy.

The values generated by AVMs are based on automated computer modeling from public records and may not represent the true value of the home as they cannot take into account the nuances of our local market. To calculate the Redfin Estimate, we combine hundreds of data points about the market, the neighborhood, and the home itself—all to provide you with the most accurate home-valuation tools. It’s useful to know how much your home is worth if you’re considering selling it, or if you’re thinking of tapping home equity for renovations or other projects. It can also give you a feel for your overall net worth, though your home’s value will fluctuate over time.

On 13 RCI ships, the Ben & Jerry's ice cream shops (previously offering the Vermont brand) now offer in-house brand ice cream. If you're sure that Royal Caribbean is your line, look for a travel agent who specializes in trips with the brand. You want someone who knows all 34 of those cabin categories that we mentioned above and, preferably, has done ship inspections to see them firsthand. If you're sure you know what sort of cabin you want, on which ship, on which itinerary — and about a dozen other things — you can head over to RoyalCaribbean.com and book directly. All vessels have North American-style 110-volt outlets in rooms, as well as European-style 220-volt outlets.

Browse our sailing options to find the perfect adventure for you. Keep in mind that Royal Caribbean frequently enhances its fares with onboard credit and category upgrades while teasing you with both dollars and a percent off of the base fare. It’s easy to search for cruises on the line’s website, but it will take a few clicks to get the hang of finding the deal that suits you best. One trick we’ve learned is not to hesitate to use the "Select Date” option to let the website show you the actual full price. Sometimes it’s the only way to know if you’re getting the deal you thought you were. The sun shines on the Caribbean daily for most of the year, with the best weather December-April.

In 2018, RCCL and Wartsila extended their service agreement to 2028. The deal covers a total of 196 marine diesel engines on 46 vessels. Most RCCL liners are equipped with Wartsila-developed monitoring technology sending real-time engine data to a land-based center for analysis. (deposit program changes) Since November 2018, RCI customers booking non-refundable deposit fares don't receive onboard credit (US$100) per stateroom.

Emerald level members receive Welcome Waters and Snacks (with Beverage Selection) and bigger booking discounts (on Balconies and Suites). Drink packages include Deluxe (all-inclusive), Refreshment (non-alcoholic) and Soda (unlimited refills with included a Coca-Cola souvenir cup). In March 2018 was announced a USD 200-million project (named "Perfect Day Island Collection") for developing private land destinations in the regions of the Caribbean, Asia, and Australia-Oceania. As part of this project, on CocoCay will be built unique water attractions. Families cruising with infants and toddlers benefit from RCI's nursery programs "Royal Babies" and "Royal Tots". Supervised children's club activities are available by RCI's children's program "Adventure Ocean".

Winter Activities that Bond the Family

When it comes to planning the ultimate getaway, there are so many reasons why cruise vacations rank among the most popular travel options. If you’re not a planner, or if the only things you’re looking to focus on during your getaway is savoring great food, relaxing, and soaking up the sights, cruise vacations are the way to go. A cruise vacation is also a great option if you’re traveling with the whole family, especially when you opt for a Royal Caribbean cruise. All of the ships in this cruise line’s fleet offer family-friendly experiences for guests of all ages. Even little ones will find plenty of ways to play with spaces and activities designed for tots to tweens.

The name on your reservation must be exactly as it is stated on your passport or other official proof of nationality. One of Royal Caribbean's great strengths is its theater entertainment, which can be mind-blowing at times — i.e., you won't believe you're seeing what you're seeing on a cruise ship. In addition, every ship has a least one — and sometimes many — extra-charge eateries. The most common one found across the fleet is Chops Grille, the line's signature steakhouse. Many ships also have an Italian eatery, called either Giovanni's Table or Jamie's Italian by Jamie Oliver. There's also Hooked Seafood, a relatively new concept now on four vessels (Icon of the Seas, Wonder of the Seas, Symphony of the Seas and Navigator of the Seas) that serves lobster rolls, fish sandwiches and the like.

"DreamWorks Experience" was a family-themed program via a partnership between Royal Caribbean International and Amblin Partners (DreamWorks SKG's owner company). Universal Pictures is the distributor of DreamWorks movie productions through its subsidiary company Touchstone Pictures. In late June 2017, RCI added two photo packages (available for online purchasing at CruisePlanner) both including two options - digital (unlimited photos are uploaded on a USB stick) and printed. Ship's lifeguards are dressed in special uniforms (in bright red and white) and stationed at every swimming pool, including the Solarium (adults-only retreat) during the complex's opening hours. All Royal Caribbean lifeguards are trained through the RCI's partnership with StarGuard Elite (Florida-based lifeguard training center). After 340 points is offered lunch with an officer (in the MDR/main dining room), with a special menu (champagne and wine included).

One of the top reasons savvy travelers love cruising, though, is because of the incredible value it offers. With Royal Caribbean, your cruise fare includes access to most of the ship’s attractions, select dining venues and all of the entertainment onboard. If you want to make your experience even more all-inclusive, you can opt for beverage and specialty dining packages that cover drinks and dinner at some of the most exclusive restaurants in the fleet. On top of all that, the cruise line presents frequent limited-time offers and seasonal sales, making it easy to score big savings when booking your vacation. If you want to make your experience even more all-inclusive, you can opt for beverage and specialty dining packages that cover drinks and dinner at some of the most exclusive restaurants in the fleet.

You'll also find all sorts of other fun-focused attractions — giant rock climbing walls, surfing simulators, zip lines, miniature golf courses and basketball courts, to name a few. Some recently built ships even have skydiving simulators — giant acrylic tubes where you get to experience the sensation of skydiving. On Oasis Class ships, there also are 735-seat outdoor "aqua theaters" that are home to dazzling aerial and water shows (Icon of the Seas has its own version of this under a glass dome called the AquaDome). Quantum Class ships have Two70, an extraordinary, high-tech theater space that offers multisensory shows combining singing, dancing and acrobatics. While a few of Royal Caribbean's smallest ships have relatively limited dining options, most of the line's vessels offer so many choices that it can almost be overwhelming.

Ice cream, scooped at mealtimes and from machines in between (apart from Ben & Jerry's) is also free. Other dining choices with additional cost run the gamut from Asian to a steakhouse, deli and Mexican and Italian restaurants. Room service carries a $7.95 cost per order, with the exception of Continental breakfast. No other cruise line has as broad a range of entertainment and activities on its ships as Royal Caribbean. As noted above, the line's biggest vessels offer multiple entertainment venues, from theaters to comedy clubs; all manner of deck-top attractions; large casinos; full-service spas; and even ice skating rinks.

In July 2017, RCI unveiled the company's 2nd ship to Cuba - Majesty OTS, homeported in Port Canaveral. Starting March 25, 2019, the liner offered a 4-night voyage calling at Havana. The USD 100 concierge service enables passengers to book port calls tailored to their interests, travel style and budget. Private Journeys (custom-made tours) allow access to 1 of 9 professional Destination Insiders who help planning every detail of the shore excursion before the cruise starts.
